iResearch iUserTracker:Duration of Video and Game Services Reduced after Summer Vacation

According to the latest statistic data released by iResearch consulting's continuous user behavior research system iUserTracker, during the period of seven days between August 31 and September 6, 2009, the effective browsing time of online video and game generally showed a downward trend, and compare to the last seven days between August 24 and August 30, 2009, the video-sharing service browsing time down to 89.1 million hours, decreased by 9%, and the small-game service browsing time down to 16.6 million hours, 39% decreased.
Based on the further analysis of monitoring data from iUserTracker, iResearch Consulting found that the scale-down in student's degree of user activity was an important reason to the general decline in effectively service browsing time. About the student user's efficient browse time, a 19% down was at video-sharing service part, and the small-game part, there has a 46% decline, these two decreasing amplitude were greater than the average decline in the level of all Internet users.

iUserTracker latest monitoring data shows that, middle school student user's TGI of video-sharing and small-game service declined after the end of the summer vacation. Video-sharing service users focused on 24 years of age, which accounted for a substantial portion of college students. The university students still have more free time for Internet access even after the summer vacation, so there was only a small decline of college student's number of users and effective browsing time. Small-game service users focused on the age of 18, mostly primary and middle school student, the Internet time will drop significantly during their school time, so the number of users and efficient browsing time had a greater decline.
